The Full Story
THE ISSUE

We are so excited to have you visit our site. We are looking for big hearted humans like yourself to help us make a difference in our local Ohio communities. We are all hearing the headlines "record temperatures cause health alerts," "Local pastor cleans feces off of church walls," "more emergency shelters needed," "no room for people, out of beds," "violence erupts," etc.. One good heart can only do so much. It is going to take a community to make this happen. It will take patience, love, time and money. It wont happen overnight, but with the above principles leading the mission it can't fail. This mission will help those that are actively wanting to change the course of their life in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
Lets face the fact that the homeless crisis in Southern Ohio has become an epidemic. Our heroic emergency response workers are spinning their wheels looking for solutions to homeless problems while their efforts could be better utilized on the streets.
We fully realize that not everyone wants help. That's okay! This is not meant to be a hand out but a hand up for those willing to help themselves.
Imagine if we could collaborate as a community, treating each homeless person as an individual, creating a structured plan to assist in the growth and success needed to be able to live a life they can be proud of. Imagine helping someone become a productive member of society?
Pets Welcome! We all know the stigma " Why would you get an animal if you're homeless?" It's so easy to judge another individuals situation, but the truth is that we don't know of the horrifying journey of others. We shouldn't have to give up our furfamily to get help. The shelters are already at capacity. WE NEED SOLUTIONS.
This brings us to the second part of our mission. We will also be a temporary animal shelter for anyone needing treatment help with addiction. I can't think of anyone who grew up wanting to be an alcoholic or drug addict, anyone who thought that their life was better while addicted and living on the streets. We will provide up to 90days for any furfriend that would be temporary homeless due to their human committing to a jail/rehab/hospitalization stay regarding recovery.

Mission
To provide immediate shelter and assistance to persons with pets experiencing homelessness while helping empower a better way of life and offer resources to help secure a safer future.
Vision
We dream of a community where we can see each others as individual souls rather than a bundle of past hardships. We dream of a safe place for recovery for those willing to make a positive change in their lives.
