Meredith has been sober for several years and works at embodying resilience and determination in the face of adversity.  Having triumphed over many personal challenges, she brings forth a powerful story of overcoming addiction and rebuilding her life.

She has made the decision to embrace sobriety, marking a turning point in her journey and encourages people with similar battles.  She understands the complexities of addiction and homelessness, offering empathy and encouragement to her peers.

In the community, she continues to advocate for awareness and support of suffering individuals, sharing her story to inspire positive change in the community. She embodies the values of perseverance and hope, proving that with determination and the right support, anyone can rebuid their life.

Britt has worked for and volunteered for our local homeless shelters for a few years now, making her well aware of our immediate need for not only shelters for human souls, but their furry family that they just can't give up, especially knowing that their pets happiness and safety can not be promised.

Britt's empathetic soul has lovingly lead her to us. Her compassionate leadership role in every aspect of her life is fueled by her desire for a hopeful future of success and inclusion for all living beings.

In the community she continues to strive in bringing diverse groups together for awareness through fundraising and events.. Her upbeat spirt and loving soul carry a joy that is contagious.

Amanda has been sober for several years and is certain that without the help and grace of so many others, her life would look completely different.

"It's only by the grace of a higher power that I am alive today. I have been blessed with the empathy, compassion and unconditional love by more strangers than I could have ever imagined. I was offered a hand up, and when I was ready, accepted it.  Life is different today.  I work a daily 12 step program which not only keeps me sober, but continues to bring miracles into my life. Human miracles.

If I can get sober and change my life, perhaps you can too."

She was inspired to open the shelter while living in Colorado Springs for a while. "There were homeless people everywhere, on every corner and most of them had pets. The city took the initiative for a solution and the results speak for themselves,  Its a win for every side of the situation."

In the community, Amanda shares her experience, strength and hope with those who might relate. "If just ONE person can find the kind of peace-filled life  that I now live, I will consider myself successful."
