If your heart is as big as ours you are probably already wondering how you can help. Most professions of care require training and residential hours for degree of completion. By partnering with us you can do just that, and receive credit through the government.
If you do not see your field of interest below however feel that you can be of service, please reach out!
If the above seem too far out of your scale of interest or experience we need volunteers of all kinds. Since part of our mission is up to 90 days of temporary fostering pets whose owners have decided to try a new way of life, we will also need temporary foster families. We will lovingly keep beloved fur friends safe for those willing to make a difference in their lives.

Dental Hygiene
The health of the mouth can determine the health of an individual. It is a well known fact that dental hygiene is necessary for everyone. Most of our guests haven't seen a hygienist in years. We are looking for participants willing to come to us at your convenience to assist in our Wellness program.
Veterinary Assistants
Most of us believe that pets can be our family when we have no one else. The majority of humans we encounter we not homeless when the decision was made to have a pet. After losing their security they can't part with the only family that they have.
Please consider partnering with us to ensure a happy and healthy life for the support system of many of our guests.
Podiatrists
Without proper foot care it would be nearly impossible for our guests to maintain any type of employment. we would love to have you on board in this critical area.
General Practitioners
Help is needed with general physicals and wellness checks. Identifying viruses and colds, distributing needed medicines, vaccinations and assisting with general health concerns with guests.
THE HEART & SOUL
We need YOU. This mission will require volunteers of all types. People to check in guests, food servers, and laundry assistants. Social workers to assist with government issued ID and insurance.
We need foster families for pets of those in recovery away from our shelter up to 90 days.
The streets are scary. We want our guests to feel like they are getting a safe opportunity to recover, therefore we will need overnight assistants.
Food for thought and reference. This mission exists because of the mission currently saving lives in other states. If you have ever been to the Denver Int. Airport you may have bought one of those little deli sandwiches in the clear plastic containers, those are made by local homeless people.
The bottom line is that everyone matters, and by helping individuals find their purpose again we become stronger as a community.
